Asked how he had persuaded his long-time collaborator to take part in the radical artwork, the multi-millionaire taxidermist replied, "Frank's fond of the single malt, so we waited until he'd had a skinful, which is a regular occurrence, and then we dropped him in it while he was unconscious." Dunphy has been credited with turning Hirst into the most bankable artist the world has ever known. The piece has been bought by a consortium of hedge fund managers for £100 billion. Last month Hirst was banned from competing in the Beijing Olympics after several of his works failed a random drugs test. Phil Tank |
