Most expensive art is bought by richest people, says shock report |

By
our art market correspondent The
world's most expensive works of art are being bought by the world's
richest individuals. This is the shocking finding of a new report
published this week by the Bonkers Research Institute in Boca Raton,
Florida. |

In order to capitalise on this fast-moving market, Artnose has joined
forces with leading Dubai-based art investment consultancy Gorgeous Asset
Partners to offer leading-edge advice on art investment to wealthy
individuals, wealth funds, investment advisors and other 'cash-rich,
info-poor' individuals and organisations. "The
art market is very buoyant right now, with lots of very wealthy people
buying all the high-ticket, blue-chip pieces at the more rarefied end of
the scale," said FlipArt's managing director Patty Fluff from her
7000-square foot office on the 189th floor of the Burj Al Arab hotel
complex in Dubai. "These people have more money than they know what
to do with and need advice on how to spend it. That's where we come in. By
joining forces with Artnose, the world's leading art news organisation, we
gain access to some of the greatest artists and critics of our time. This
will help us leverage our expertise and ride the bell-curve going
forwards." "I'm
not sure what she's on about," said Artnose editor Percy Flarge.
"Like all art investment consultants, Patty's a little too fond of
the Columbian marching powder. We only joined up with them to get a piece
of the action." Sir
Godfrey Bonkers is 109.
